Welcome!

February 1, 2020 by Abi Leave a Comment

Greetings, friends.

I know many of you know my family and I already- I’m so glad to see you here. I also know that over the course of this writing this blog, I will get to know many more of you- and I’m so happy to meet you.

You may or may not already know that I have had two other public blogs over the last decade of my life. The first was completely dedicated to pregnancy, birth, and babies. It was SO much fun to write, but I haven’t been active on there for quite some time. The second, a homestead/crunchy/thrifty blog, is still alive and well, though currently not my main focus.

So why in my right mind would I start a third website?

Well, there are two main reasons. One, I can’t seem to help myself. Whenever I’m not blogging, I miss it a lot. I’ve always enjoyed writing in some capacity or another and this is just a medium that I seem to be drawn to. So, here I am again.

Second, I am in my fifth year of homeschooling my children. My days consist of managing math and language arts lessons, reading book after book, cleaning messes, working on personal goals, and all sorts of other fun adventures that come with educating four kids under one tiny roof. Since my world revolves around homeschooling, it’s only natural that my inclination is to write about it.

My heart is to learn and to grow as a homeschooling family and to share what I’m learning, in the hopes that it will help other families along the way.

I hope that you enjoy what you find here, and that you find it a place where we can all earnestly learn together. Let’s stay connected!

Looking forward,

Abi
